Bosco Gurin is an ancient Walser village with a unique architectural beauty. Starting from the village, we'll cross woods and wide slopes until we reach the Grossalp mountain pasture, located in a splendid panoramic position overlooking the surrounding peaks. Here, we'll enjoy a well-deserved lunch break, admiring the snow-capped landscapes around us. The return journey is the same as the outward journey. Difficulty: WT1 Elevation gain: approximately 500 m (1960 ft) Effort: Low Duration: All day Packed lunch The fee includes: professional guide, excursion planning and management, training on proper progression using snowshoes and poles, information on the flora, fauna, and geology of the surrounding area, demonstration of the use of avalanche transceivers, shovels, and probes, client accident insurance, recovery insurance, and satellite messaging in case of emergency. The fee does not include: packed lunches, equipment rental, shared transportation costs, and anything not listed under "The fee includes." Required equipment: Waterproof boots or hiking boots, no sneakers; Ski pants or waterproof overtrousers; Ski gloves; Hiking backpack with a minimum capacity of 20 liters, with wide shoulder straps, an ergonomic back, and a waist belt for weight distribution; Clothing appropriate for the season and weather; however, layering is always recommended; A spare shirt and socks; Swimsuit if you plan to use the sauna; Rain jacket; Down jacket; Hat and gloves; Walking poles with washers; Snowshoes (available for rental); Avalanche transceiver, shovel, and probe (available for rental); Headlamp; A minimum 1.5 liter water reserve is required; mineral salts and/or supplements are recommended; Food of your choice.
