The meeting point is at the base of La Thuile’s yellow bubble lifts. This is where we carefully check your equipment to ensure it’s the correct size and comfortable to use. We’re ready! The lift takes us to the top of La Thuile’s plateau​,​ then to Chaz Dura​,​ where we cross into France. The connection to France is often windy​,​ and one of the lifts is called "Belvedere." "Belvedere" is an Italian word that combines "bello" (beautiful) and "vedere" (to see)​,​ meaning "beautiful view." At the top​,​ you can easily spot Mont Blanc​,​ the Matterhorn​,​ and Monte Rosa. It’s always hard for me to pull you away from taking more pictures! The sensation of fresh air and the pristine​,​ unpolluted environment is truly tangible. With sunscreen on your smiling face​,​ legs warming up​,​ and the sun heating the slopes​,​ we explore and discover stunning locations. One such spot is the hidden Ecudets chairlift in La Rosière. The Ecudets lift starts deep in the forest near the village of Bourg-Saint-Maurice​,​ where the heady scent of pine and resin embraces you. Technique is an essential part of our journey and is tailored to each individual. We also record videos to make our day unforgettable. Dress in layers to suit the temperature and weather conditions. No passport or ID is required. My name is Pietro M. Dalmasso. I was born in Milan​,​ studied Economics in the United States and the United Kingdom​,​ and have lived and worked in the Principality of Monaco since 1993. I am a fully qualified Italian Maestro di Sci and a French BEES (Brevet d'État d'Éducateur Sportif) instructor. I am also an instructor and federal coach for FISI (Federazione Italiana Sport Invernale). Additionally​,​ I have specialized training to teach students with various disabilities. These qualifications allow me to provide ski lessons and coaching throughout the EU and Switzerland. Furthermore​,​ I am an official tester for a leading mountain sports company​,​ where I review and evaluate the latest ski equipment—such as skis​,​ boots​,​ and bindings—to ensure they meet safety and performance standards for the upcoming season.
