Cancellations

Crion travelers look forward to their activity​,​ but we understand there are times when you may need to cancel. When you do​,​ we recommend you also send your client a message as soon as possible.

Canceling a traveler’s reservation can have serious implications for their trip​,​ so we may apply penalties if the cancellation does not meet certain extenuating circumstances. Cancellations mess with travelers’ plans and can reduce confidence in our community​,​ so as a provider you should do your best to fulfill all confirmed reservations. If something has come up and you simply can’t fulfill a reservation for any reason​,​ it’s your responsibility (and not your client’s) to cancel as quickly as possible to allow your client time to make new plans.

If you cancel a confirmed reservation​,​ a fee will be deducted from your first payout after the cancellation. The amount depends on when you accepted the reservation and how soon before check-in you canceled it:

  • Less than 72 hours before start time​,​ 100 CHF (or equivalent in your account currency) could be deducted from your next payout

If you cancel before the day of activity​,​ an automated review will be posted to your listing’s profile indicating that you canceled one of your reservations. These reviews can’t be removed. If you cancel on the day of activity or later​,​ travelers can choose to leave a public review on your listing’s profile. If you cancel 3 or more reservations within a year​,​ we may suspend or deactivate your account.

You can cancel reservations without adverse consequences in extenuating circumstances or similar conditions beyond your control.

To cancel a reservation:

  • Go to your “Bookings”
  • Go to “Activities offered​/​upcoming”
  • Select the reservation you need to cancel
  • Click on cancel and follow the procedure

In case you are not able to cancel a reservation you may need to contact us.

In case of traveler cancellation, you will be notified immediately, your calendar will be freed and depending on your Cancellation Policy you may still receive a payout.
