Ski touring tour - intermediate

At your arrival in Tromsø​,​ our captain will welcome you for boarding on Saturday 30 March from 16:00. You will board the Havela​,​ ready to cast off every day to new sites. After a hearty breakfast​,​ our annex will drop you at the foot of a slope​,​ in the heart of a birch forest. You will put on your skis and start the ascent of the mountains carefully selected by your guide according to the weather conditions and snow cover. In general​,​ the more we head north of the Lyngen Alps​,​ the less frequented is the place by other groups. Our crew has two dedicated members to accompany us throughout the adventure. On board​,​ the boat can accommodate six passengers in three double cabins. In addition​,​ there are two additional beds​,​ pullman beds separated from the square by a curtain. All stays are full board and towels and bedding are provided. Please note that alcohol and transfers are not included. Technical level Technically​,​ the slopes do not exceed 45 degrees. They are generally well oriented to guarantee your pleasure and our safety. It is important to note that the quality of the snow can vary from one side to another. Physical level Good physical fitness is essential to fully enjoy this experience. The stages last from 5 to 8 hours depending on the altitude of the summit and its distance from the coast. The altitude differences vary from 900m to 1'200m​,​ but they are adapted according to the level of each participant and the group. It is quite possible to customize the outings according to the preferences of each person​,​ whether you want longer or shorter outings. Program Change The program that we communicate to you is likely to change depending on the snow conditions and the state of the sea. Some coasts can still be taken by ice​,​ making navigation impossible. However​,​ it is important to note that the sea is generally calm in the fjords​,​ and our boat remains stable. Life on board is governed by good humor and conviviality​,​ because the unexpected is an integral part of the adventure. Material The complete list of materials will be given after registration. Ski equipment full hiking + personal pharmacy + provide warm clothes and very good gloves.
